Annie has lived on the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding environs for many years. In her art practice she is interested in observing and recording details, responding to local environments and beyond and reflecting on the mood and memory of a place or objects. Annie uses varied materials and processes, often mixing the media. Some of her charcoal drawings begin with pencil sketches and watercolour washes which develop through the layers. Working within contemporary contexts and a range of media, Annie’s recent paintings and drawings attempt to express the diversity and vulnerability of the natural world. Memberships (professional guilds or associations). National Gallery of Victoria and Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery.
Annie’s studio is open by appointment, as are all are artists throughout the year. Please contact her for her address details.
